A dominant force in Texas high school basketball for quite some time, the Oak Cliff Faith Family Eagles have added another title to their legacy. In the program’s sixth appearance at the UIL Basketball State Tournament, Faith Family nabbed their fourth state title— third consecutive title.

With a 25-11 overall record (8-0 in district play), the Oak Cliff Faith Family Eagles closed another season with another state championship trophy to add to their trophy case. With a strong 80-66 victory over Silsbee, Lamont Hartfield, Tony Dixon, Tahsheim Gary, Isaac Williams, D’Mari Denver, and others helped lead Faith Family to victory in the UIL Class 5A Basketball State Title. The Eagles’ unwavering resilience in the face of challenges fueled their journey to secure a successful season. Showcasing their determination and ability to overcome adversity, the team created stepping stones for themselves that would lead them to the top as they relentlessly pursued victory— embodying the spirit of true champions.
