Amid a weekend riddled with inclement weather, the show must go on when it comes to Texas high school football. Nowhere was that more evident than in San Antonio. With the exception of the highly anticipated clash between Steele and Lake Travis, which ended in a 28-28 tie, the majority of the games resumed after brief suspensions throughout the weekend.

Boerne came away victorious from one of the week’s more entertaining matchups, defeating Davenport, 30-21, with the Greyhounds set to close out their non-district schedule against Somerset this Friday.
