TD Club of Houston announces preseason public school team
The Touchdown Club of Houston is pleased to announce its 2026 Public School High School Preseason Team for the 2026 season.
Here are the Preseason Honorees...
The squad will be honored at the Touchdown Club’s annual Touchdowner of the Year Dinner, scheduled for Wednesday, August 19th at 7 p.m. in the Main Ballroom of the Bayou City Event Center, 9401 Knight Road.
This year’s Touchdowner Award will be presented to Dave Elmendorf, former Westbury, Texas A&M and LA Ram standout defensive back. He will be joined at the banquet by a number of College and Professional Football Hall of Fame members as well as a number of former teammates.

Cy Falls edge rusher Kaden McCarty has earned a reputation as one of the premier defensive prospects in the state of Texas. A Texas A&M commitment, McCarty has been a relentless force for the Eagles, piling up more than 110 career tackles while establishing himself as one of the most feared defenders in the Greater Houston area.
Committed to Texas A&M, McCarty possesses the physical tools and football IQ to make an immediate impact at the next level, but first he has unfinished business in maroon and white. His goal is to leave a lasting legacy by helping return Cy Falls to the top of the district and into the playoff spotlight.
