Lake Creek captured their second straight 5A DII UIL State Championship with a 6-5 victory over Brewer, securing the program’s fourth state title in the past five years.

Leading the way was standout Madalyn Davis, who had two hits, two runs and two stolen bases for the Lions earning the State Championship game MVP.
