NEW VIBE: Kingwood's Cale Melton takes helm at Lake Creek
Cale Melton is on the move.
The former Kingwood High School head football coach has been named the new head coach and athletic coordinator at Lake Creek High School.
Football runs deep in Melton’s roots. His father spent years coaching at Atlanta High School, and Melton carved out his own path as defensive coordinator at Highland Park High School, where he helped capture two state championships before taking over at Kingwood.
VYPE’s Matt Malatesta caught up with Melton as the dust settled on the hire.
