THE SETUP: No. 27 Lake Creek | VYPE Houston Volleyball 2026 Preseason Rankings
Second-team all-district selections Shelby Lee (outside hitter) and Sutton Breck Tessier (setter) also return after impactful seasons. Lee tallied 285 kills and 281 digs, while Tessier ran the offense with 856 assists, 255 digs, and 69 aces as one of the district’s most reliable servers.
Defensive specialist Louisa Ertichek set the tone with 469 digs and 710 serve receptions, while Reagan Trero (libero) and a deep group of outside hitters in Breann Joyce, Blaire Sexton, and Alexis Hammock provide additional depth across the lineup.
Kane noted Lee and Sexton as potential breakout contributors this fall, emphasizing the program’s growing confidence and identity. With a young core now seasoned by playoff experience, Lake Creek looks positioned to take a meaningful step forward in 2026.
