FIELD POSITION: 2026 VYPE DFW Football Rankings — Week 9 | District Chaos Changes the Equation

Nobody's spot is guaranteed this time of year, especially when upsets start shaking up district races.

Among the most significant shifts is Coppell (5-2), which drops out of the Top 10 after suffering a 27-19 defeat against Lake Highlands last Friday.

Similarly, previously unbeaten Celina (6-1) tumbles to No. 20 after being dealt its first loss of the year, courtesy of Frisco (5-2). The Raccoons, meanwhile, make their rankings debut at No. 19 after their 33-20 triumph over the Bobcats.

Those results have opened the door for several programs to climb the ladder, including Timberview (7-0), Lovejoy (7-1) and Walnut Grove (6-1).

At the top, Allen (7-0) and North Crowley (7-0) continue to set the pace, while the impending District 11-6A showdown between Waxahachie (6-1) and Duncanville (4-3) figures to have significant implications.

That being said, expect even more movement in the weeks ahead.
