VYPE U: Columbia loses to Lamar Consolidated in Non-Conference Match

Lamar Consolidated was unstoppable against Columbia Monday night.

In a non-conference soccer match at Traylor Stadium, Lamar Consolidated Boy's Soccer rang in the new year by scoring goal after goal to beat Columbia.

Mustangs started the first half strong with two immediate goals and continued to build their lead throughout the game. Columbia was left scoreless and fell to Lamar Consolidated 8-0. #6 Edwin Fuentes was top scorer, with a hat trick, being responsible for 3 of the Mustangs' 8 goals.

Lamar Consolidated (Rosenberg, TX) will travel to Foster (Richmond, TX) January 14th in a conference match as Columbia (West Columbia, TX) takes on Needville at home.
