HIGHLIGHT VIDEO: McKinney Boyd and McKinney High golfers compete in District Tournament

McKinney Boyd and McKinney High competed at Gentle Creek in the district championship golf tournament. Battling through rough weather during both days of play, the McKinney ISD golfers were able to post strong outings. VYPE DFW was there to catch all the action!

With a strong lead through day one of district tournament play at Gentle Creek, McKinney Boyd finished the 5-6A golf meet as the district champion with 14 strokes ahead of second-place Denton Guyer. McKinney Boyd had three top-10 finishers to help lead the Broncos to the victory: Hunter Millsap (second-place individual, 73-79, 152), Cole Waymire (third-place tied individual, 77-78, 155), and CJ Moolbroek (sixth-place three-way tie individual, 80-76, 156). McKinney Boyd B team also finished sixth overall. McKinney High and McKinney High B team finished in ninth and tenth place respectively- ahead of Little Elm.
