North Shore once again reasserted itself as the gold standard. The Mustangs secured the program’s sixth state championship — and first since 2021 — with a tension-laden victory over Duncanville in the UIL 6A Division I finale.
Elsewhere, history was written. C.E. King made its inaugural appearance in Arlington, squaring off against DeSoto in the 6A Division II championship in Head Coach Cory Laxen’s first season at the helm.
Meanwhile, Randle’s dominant run persisted, representing H-Town at AT&T Stadium in the 5A Division II title game with a program built on continuity and expectation.
On the private school front, The Kinkaid School continued its reign, capturing back-to-back SPC-4A titles and its sixth championship since 2017. In TAPPS, Second Baptist closed the year with consecutive appearances in the Division II championship, underscoring its staying power on the state stage.
