No. 3 -- Katy Tigers

2023: 30-8-3 (Finished 3rd in District 19-6A/Region III Finalist)

The Tigers were within throwing distance of reaching the UIL State Tournament a year ago, before falling just short against the state runner-up Pearland.

Some stars have since graduated, but don’t let that dissuade you from the potential threat this team poses. Katy is still going to be raw, no doubt about it.

Coach Wes Hearne’s group will be bringing back some of the recognized players in the exceptional Katy ISD, particularly A.J. Atkinson (SHSU-commit) and Sutton Hall (Texas A&M), with plenty of younger incoming talent to fill in the gaps of the program.

A trio of juniors have huge upside in Connor Udland (UH), Cade Nelson (TCU) and Aiden Barrientes (TCU).
