VYPE was on hand to catch some of the softball action between Lake Creek and Waller. Lake Creek checks in the series undefeated on the season and ranked as the number one team in Class 5A while Waller won the District 19-5A title.
Lake Creek scored two runs in the bottom of the sixth to walk away with the 5-3 victory. Florida commit Ava Brown lead the way and pitched a complete game with eight strikeouts.
Game 2 will be tonight at 5pm at Texas A&M with Game 3 to follow, if needed.
