THE COWBOY: Jasper's Crumedy comes back to H-Town to take over FB Travis
Feb 23, 2026
Kendrick Crumedy is headed back to Houston.
The former Jasper High School head coach has been named the new leader at Fort Bend Travis High School, bringing with him deep roots in the area and a championship pedigree.
Crumedy made his name at Manvel High School, where he won two state titles in track and also served as an assistant coach. Now, he’s returning to H-Town — cowboy boots and belt buckle in tow — with a vision of building a new culture at Travis.
VYPE’s Matt Malatesta caught up with Crumedy as he begins this next chapter.
