Klein Oak is looking to carry its regular-season success into the postseason after finishing 36-13 and advancing to the Bi-District round of the playoffs a year ago. Coach William Jenkins returns a talented roster that has the potential to take the next step in 2026.
Leading the way is District 15-6A Hitter of the Year Camille Csernik. The Miami commit put together a sensational season, totaling 603 kills and 282 digs, and returns as one of the top players in the Houston area.
First-team all-district middle blocker Amiya Bryant is also back after recording 175 kills and 91 blocks, while second-team all-district setter Lily Singletary returns to run the offense after registering 582 assists and 197 digs. Sophomore libero Ava Edmonds is another player to watch after totaling 212 digs and 408 serve receptions as a freshman.
Additional players expected to make an impact include Abigail Burton, Olivia Vidito, Emelia Dustmann, Ava Lawrence, Ava Schweiger, Ariya Perkins and Kate Schindewolf.
“After tying the school record for most regular-season wins, this team has an opportunity to leave its mark even higher!” Jenkins said. According to Jenkins, the keys to success for Klein Oak are simple: Start strong. Stay strong. Finish strong.
