Cy Creek headed into last week seeking its first win of the season.
The Cougars found it in a 53-9 victory over Jersey Village on Friday. Cy Creek racked up more than 580 yards of total offense in the emphatic victory.
Cy Creek quarterback Julian Uwadia was a key factor. Uwadia finished 20-of-31 for 306 yards, five touchdowns and on interception.
Uwadia completed 64.5 percent of his passes on Friday in the victory. Uwadia is 60-105 for 703 yards and nine touchdowns for the season.
Cy Creek faces Stratford tonight at 7 p.m.
