VYPE recently held a fan poll for the Austin/San Antonio Public School Player of the year. After a week of voting, the winner with 36 percent of the votes is Bailey Schievelbein of La Vernia.

Bailey had 338 kills, 36 aces, 30 blocks and 276 digs on the year while helping lead the Lady Bears to a 39-10 record while making it to the Regional Finals.
