2026 Oak Ridge (TX) three-star wide receiver James Scott has announced his commitment to TCU.
The 6-foot-5 215 pound wide receiver commits to the Horned Frogs over Houston, USC, LSU, and Texas A&M among others.
“I feel like the last seven years coach Kelly has been at TCU he has developed and sent multiple wide receivers to the league and that’s what really made me want to commit to TCU.”
Scott was at TCU for his official visit this past weekend and the visit with the Horned Frogs really helped solidify his commitment.
“I had been to TCU three to four times before my OV and really wanted to go their for my OV and see what the difference was from Houston and TCU and after my visit it really solidified my decision in committing.”
Scott is now the the 11th commit in TCU’s 2026 class and will also be joining a familiar face in current TCU commit, The Woodlands QB Jack Daulton.
“Jack and I have been talking a lot ever since he committed to TCU,” Scott said. “We have a pretty good connection and he had been trying to get me on board and join him at TCU since he committed.”
Now with his commitment out the way, the star Oak Ridge wide receiver is ready to focus in on his senior year and help lead the War Eagles back to the playoffs.
