ON THE MOVE: James Williams to build winning brand at new Tomball West

James Williams has been a major force in the Greater Houston high school football landscape for more than a decade.
During his tenure at Fort Bend Marshall, Williams built the Buffalos into a dominant Class 5A powerhouse, advancing to the State Finals twice and establishing one of the most respected brands in Texas high school football.
Now, he’s ready for a new challenge. Williams has been hired to lead Tomball West, the newest high school in Tomball ISD and the district’s third campus.
Tasked with building the program from the ground up, he’ll bring his proven blueprint for success to a brand-new stage.
VYPE’s Matt Malatesta caught up with Coach Williams as the news broke that one of the state’s most decorated coaches was on the move.
