THE COUGARS ARE COMING OFF A 26-WIN SEASON A YEAR AGO, WHICH GOT THEM TO THE BI-DISTRICT ROUND OF THE PlAYOFFS.
Tomball, led by sixth-year coach Jordan Williams, brings back four starters off that squad. First-team, all-district pick Heidi Horan leads the way, followed by second-teamer Reese Smith and honorable-mention, all-district selection Gemma Hopkins.
According to Williams, the biggest key to success for 2024 is leadership, which she refers to as crucial. They will build this season around the mantra of “WE > Me”.

VYPEU-Behind the Lens: Tomball continues 18-game win streak to Cy Woods
On Tuesday afternoon, the Tomball Cougars took on the Cy Woods Wildcats in the first round of playoffs at Waller High School. The Cougars started out strong with the first set ending at 25-14. The Wildcats caught up in the second set, but ended up just falling short to the Cougars with the score ending at 25-21.
The Cougars ended up winning the match 3-0. Here are a few photos from the game:
