RJ Wyms burst onto the scene as a sophomore at College Park, becoming a cornerstone of a stingy defense and helping lead the Cavaliers to the deepest playoff run in school history with a trip to the third round of the postseason.
Now entering his junior season, the standout defensive lineman is poised to take his game to another level.
Wyms has enjoyed a whirlwind offseason, collecting scholarship offers from across the country while earning recognition as one of the nation's top defensive prospects. With his combination of size, athleticism and relentless motor, it's easy to see why college recruiters have made him a priority.
Football excellence runs in the family. The son of former nine-year NFL veteran Ellis Wyms, RJ has grown up around the game and developed the work ethic and mentality needed to excel at the highest level.
