18 Strong: Colleyville Heritage wins Class 5A Volleyball Championship

In their first state tournament appearance, the Colleyville Heritage Lady Panthers volleyball program went the distance in order to cap off their season with a state title. "We're 18 strong..." McKinney said alluding to the idea that the team is more than just the athletes on the court. With unmatched energy on the court and on the bench, the Lady Panthers brought the heat in the state title match.

The Lady Panthers won the first set 25-14 before Frisco Reedy posted a set two victory defeating the Panthers in a close 25-23 set.
