Locker Talk ATX/SATX: Kloza/Jackson Interview + UIL State Championship Previews

VYPE editor Thomas Bingham, Hill Country Indoor sports director Evan Beyer and "Producer Josh" Waclawczyk continue their 2019-2020 sports coverage and share this week's "From The Bench" interview with San Antonio LEE soccer players Kameron Kloza (Texas Tech commit) and Jen Jackson (Rice commit) during the 18th Locker Talk Austin/San Antonio episode.

The hosts also preview the 12 UIL football state championship games, and recap the seven UIL state semifinal games involving Austin/San Antonio area schools and teams.

The 2020 football season is going to start a little later than many thought for The John Cooper School. The Dragons are slated to open their season on October 2 against Lutheran South, which will pit two solid quarterbacks against each other.

That will kickoff a six-game slate for the Dragons. So, what do the players think about the upcoming season?

VYPE caught up with William Bisso, Nicholas Harris, Ben Currin, Jackson Kovin and Connor Dove at the Dragons' recent VYPE Media Day about the upcoming season.

The Port Neches-Groves Indians have rumbled into the playoffs for seven-straight seasons. Some would consider 2019 to be a bit of a down year, just on the premise that they did not surpass 10 wins, which they had done for the previous three years.

Blake Bost will be the one to try and wheel this team back into double digit victories again. Bost last year at QB passed for 2,505 yards and 15 scores. Brady Nail will be the top target for Bost at receiver.
