UIL 5A-6A Top 10:
No. 1 Westlake: The Chaparrals are motivated after their 2019 UIL 6A Region IV Quarterfinal loss to Converse Judson, and Division I recruits Shay Holle (Texas commit),Presley Bennett (Texas State commit) andBailee Chynoweth can guide them to the UIL State Final Four during the 2019-2020 season.
No. 2 Pflugerville Hendrickson: The Hawks earned a 39-2 record before finishing the 2018-2019 season at the UIL 6A Region II Semifinal, andreturning playersSarah Malinowski, Zoe Nelson,Naomi Pierce,Erika Suarez, Lanay Fuller andMakayla Ward will put them in a position to achieve another multi-round playoff appearance in the 2019-2020 campaign.
No. 3 Cedar Park: The Timberwolves recorded a 30-win season and a UIL 5A Region III Area Round appearance during the 2018-2019 season, and can have more success in the 2019-2020 season because of the returns of Nicole Leff (Texas State commit), Hanna Wheeler (UIW commit), Alisa Knight, Shelby Hayes, Sarai Estupinan and Takara Holst.
No. 4 Cedar Park Vista Ridge: The Rangers stormed to the UIL 6A Region II Semifinal during the 2018-2019 season, and have a notable trio in AJ Marotte, Victoria Baker and Zion Neat to make another deep run in the 2019-2020 season.
No. 5 Round Rock Cedar Ridge: The Raiders won 25 games and advanced to the UIL 6A Region II Quarterfinal during the 2018-2019 season, and will lean on Jordyn Marshall,Malaysia DePrisco andPaetynn Gray to achieve more in the 2019-2020 season.
No. 6 Georgetown: The Eagles won 23 games and advanced to the UIL 5A Region III Area Round during the 2018-2019 season, and can surpass that success in the 2019-2020 campaign because of seniors McCall Hampton (St. Edward's commit) and Kylie Ellsworth.
No. 7 Round Rock Westwood: The Warriors won 27 games and advanced to the UIL 6A Region II Bi-district Round during the 2018-2019 season, and can extend their multi-year playoff streak with Annalise Galliguez andAnisha Chintalaleading the2019-2020 charge.
No. 8 Lake Travis: The Cavaliers won 24 games en route to a UIL 6A Region IV Bi-District appearance during the 2018-2019 season, and will remain a playoff contender in the 2019-2020 season because of Raeven Boswell and Jackie Cilliers.
No. 9 Dripping Springs: The Tigers won 25 games en route to the UIL 5A Region IV Quarterfinal during the 2018-2019 season, and have the necessary leader in Ally Beck to make another multi-round playoff appearance in the 2019-2020 campaign.
No. 10 Georgetown East View: The Patriots won 20 games and appeared in a pair of UIL 5A playoff games during the 2018-2019 season, and are expected to top that with top returnersMary Brown and Sarah Workman in the 2019-2020 campaign.
