Keely McGuire enters her 11th year at Foster at the helm of the Falcons and has a loaded roster coming back at her disposal.
Foster went 34-6 overall a year ago, reached the Regional Quarterfinals and return nine starters including three-time District MVP Ella McDowell.
The University of Arkansas-signee hit the cover off the ball in 2023 batting .653 with a 1.356 slugging percentage. McDowell drove in 64 runs with 13 homers, 14 doubles and nine triples.
Other players to watch include Sophie Brammer (Alvin CC), Izzy Jacoby (Alvin CC), Maddie Carter (Navarro College), Jordan Tosch, Jessica Reyes, Avery Jones, Emerson Lechler and Hailey Westmoreland.
Keys to success for the Falcons in 2024 include making the routine plays every time, pitchers hitting their spots and learning to utilize small ball, according to McGuire.
