History was made on Friday night as Brennan ended Lake Travis' reign over the San Antonio area in the playoffs. For the first time in over a decade a San Antonio area school was able to defeat the Lake Travis Cavaliers as the Brennan Bears used a 4th quarter surge to pull away and win 34-17. They return to the Regional Finals for the second year in a row where they will take on Westlake, who has won 53 games in a row, Saturday at 2pm at the Alamodome.
