"WE WILL": No. 2 Shadow Creek features an excess of star-power to see out a likely playoff run
2 -- SHADOW CREEK SHARKS
Shadow Creek (31-3) was one of the most dominant squads around in the 2023 regular season, as they would go on to make their seventh consecutive playoff appearance.
Although they were eliminated in the Area Round, at the hands of a formidable West Brook team, the fact that a significant portion of their stars are returning bodes well for the Sharks.
Eighth-year coach David President will lean on the veteran leadership – particularly from District MVP Michael Collins (Sr. PG / 21 ppg) – to elevate the entire roster, while placing an emphasis on staying healthy.
Aiden Law moves over from St. Francis Episcopal (TAPPS-4A State Champs) to further bolster SCHS, paired with Julian Cuillier (first-team, all-district), Adin Lewis (second-team), and senior guard Bryce Jackson (Houston-commit), who returns after two years of injury.
The motto in 2024 is “WE WILL”.
All things considered it appears that Shadow Creek will be even deadlier.

BLOOD IN THE WATER: No. 8 Shadow Creek in pursuit of district title and more
The “baby” Sharks had a solid season in 2023, finishing second in District 23-6A.
With another summer under their belts, juniors Michael Collins and Chase Garcia, along with senior Kaden Tate will be more seasoned.
Coach David President will employ his up-tempo style and Collins is just the guy to run the show. Tate is a solid inside presence to balance out Garcia, who is a great compliment to Collins in the back-court.
The Sharks will be on attack after an early exit from the playoffs in 2023. Bryce Jackson and Julian Cuillier will also play important roles.
