Getting to the state championships is something every high school athlete dreams of. With hard work and dedication to their sports, athletes across the state continually work hard to become the best versions of themselves. Northwest ISD athletics has two programs headed to the UIL State meet this weekend!
At Northwest ISD, a tradition of excellence is well known. For Northwest High School and V.R. Eaton High School, the swim and dive teams get to turn their dreams into reality as they head to compete at UIL 5A and 6A State Meet!
Both teams have had a season of extraordinary talent in the pool. Looking to make a big splash at state, they begin prelims on Friday, February 17th with the hopes of making it to the state finals on Saturday, February 18th. With incredible finishes already in the books for the Texans and Eagles, there are only great things to be proud of this season. Be sure you keep your eyes on the leaderboards throughout the weekend and see which of your favorite athletes bring home medals!
