BREAKING: Second Baptist School junior Reese Alston named Guy V. Lewis Award Winner

Reese Alston is the newest member of an elite club - a Guy V. Lewis Award Winner.
On Wednesday, the Second Baptist School junior was named the winner of the Guy V. Lewis Award, which is named after the legendary University of Houston coach.
Alston helped lead the Eagles to their second straight TAPPS 5A State Championship finishing the State championship game with 23 points.
The senior averaged 22.2 points per game, 5.3 assists per game and 2.7 steals per game this season.
The five-star junior prospect is ranked as the No. 8 player nationally, No. 2 point guard in the country and the No. 2 player in the State of Texas by 247Sports.
