Here come the champs… again. Haven’t we written this story before? Episcopal enters the 2023 season as the reigning Southwest Preparatory Conference (SPC) Champions. It was their fifth-straight crown in 2022 and the 20th overall in program history. Both of those marks are SPC records. And they have the firepower back to do it again. The group is led by Florida-commit Townsen Thomas and New Mexico-commit Allie Williams, who led the team with 34 RBIs and six homers a year ago. Other key returners include Emma Peirot (24 RBIs, 8 2B, 4 3B), Kate Hale and Gianna Lewis. This team has the pieces to go grab another SPC crown in 2023. They defeated St. John’s in the SPC Title game a year ago, it could be another rematch again this season.
