ON MY WHISTLE: Angleton's Kasen Jammer talks ball, recruiting, life on a NFL sideline
Kasen Jammer was born into football royalty.
The Angleton Wildcats standout is the son of former NFL defensive back Quentin Jammer and nephew of former NFL veteran Quandre Diggs. Jammer spent 11 seasons in the NFL, primarily with the then-San Diego Chargers, while Diggs carved out a decade-long professional career of his own.
Football success runs throughout the family.
Kasen’s brothers — Kaleb Jammer at Portland State Athletics and Kaden Jammer at University of the Incarnate Word Athletics — have helped provide a blueprint for his future at the next level.
The early graduate is set to take official visits this summer and hopes to announce a college decision in the near future.
VYPE’s Matt Malatesta sat down with the Angleton prodigy to discuss football, recruiting and what life was like growing up around NFL sidelines.
Check it out.
