Cypress Ranch Carried Torch for Decade's ALL-VYPE Top 10 Baseball Squads

A new power emerged on the Texas baseball landscape over the past decade as Cypress Ranch reached state three times and won the title twice.

Under the direction of legendary coach John Pope, the 'Stangs combined solid pitching, a stingy defense and clutch hitting to become the top team in Houston. Pope also won a state title at Cy-Fair in 2007.

Ron Eastman's Highlanders of The Woodlands also flexed their muscles, winning in 2013 and reaching state in 2018. Staying up north, the Tomball Cougars have also had tremendous success over the past 10 years with a title in 2013.

Deer Park also had a run, winning in 2013 and holding the No. 1 ranking in the country during the decade.
