Per New Caney ISD Communications

New Caney ISD's stadium begins the 2019-20 school year with a new name: Randall Reed Stadium. The district has entered into a five-year naming rights agreement with Randall Reed, CEO and founder of the World Class Automotive Group and Reed Enterprises which includes Planet Ford of Humble.

For 25 years, Planet Ford of Humble has proudly served the area's automotive needs and given back to the community through the support of various civic improvement projects and local organizations.

"The Reed family has a long history of community service and support, values we share in our mission to prepare students to be responsible citizens," said Superintendent Kenn Franklin. "New Caney ISD is excited about this new agreement, and we appreciate the strong support Randall Reed and Planet Ford of Humble have shown our schools and our students."

Opened in 2014, Randall Reed Stadium is home to the New Caney Eagles and Porter Spartans. The stadium seats 8,000 fans and features one of the largest real-time video screens in Texas high school sports, electronic ribbon boards, and a state-of-the-art sound system, creating a special environment for high school sports and extra-curricular programs as well as community events.

Planet Ford of Humble has long supported New Caney ISD schools and student organizations, and the stadium agreement extends this partnership into the future.

"We are excited to be growing our partnership with New Caney ISD in support of our children, the schools, and our community's future," said Randall Reed, owner of Planet Ford in Humble. "Working with local schools on projects, like Randall Reed Stadium, is part of a winning game plan for everyone involved."

The 2019 football regular season at Randall Reed Stadium kicks off, August 30, when the Porter Spartans host C.E. King High School at 7 p.m. The New Caney Eagles open their home schedule, Sept. 6, against Heights High School at 7 p.m.
