Moving over from Goose Creek Memorial is Casey Mulryan-Veen, who spent five seasons leading the Patriots. In her time at GCM, Veen led it to the playoffs every season and reached the second round in 2017. Veen takes over a program that has won back-to-back district titles, made the playoffs for 18-straight years and reached the Regional Quarters back in 2018. So, what pieces does the new coach have? Well, she will have to find a replacement for District 21-5A MVP Trinity Hennigan. Kelsi Wingo will have a chance to do just that. Last year as a sophomore, Wingo had 707 assists, 292 digs, 225 kills and 58 aces. Wingo earned second-team, all-district honors. Other second- teamers returning also include <a href="https://www.vype.com/Texas/Houston/vype-411-barbers-hills-nadia-karabanoff" target="_blank">Nadia Karabanoff</a> (148 kills and 210 digs) and Jordan Burnett (374 digs and 135 kills).<span></span></p><p><ins class="adsbygoogle" style="display:block" data-ad-client="ca-pub-9787720712654893" data-ad-slot="8738871937" data-ad-format="auto" data-full-width-responsive="true"></ins>
