Mississippi high school football: Predictions for top games in Week 5

Per Clarion Ledger

Another week of high school football has come and gone, and Jimmy Holiday still looks unstoppable. The Dandy Dozen senior had yet another big game, single-handedly accumulating 422 yards of offense and accounting for five touchdowns in Madison Central's 34-21 win over Pearl in a matchup of last week's top teams in the Clarion Ledger Super 10.

Holiday now has 1,043 total yards (571 rushing, 466 passing) and 14 touchdowns and has led Madison Central to a 4-0 record. Football fans will have to wait another week before seeing him in action again as the top-ranked Jags have a bye this week.

Several other top teams are enjoying a bye week as well, but there's still plenty of compelling matchups across the state.

Anthony's prediction record: 14-2
