Four on the Floor: Top H-Town Prospects Who've Impressed in Tournament Play

By Ray Meach

Ok, let's not get ahead of ourselves, but let's take a look at four basketball prospects who have impressed in the early tournament season.

Here's Four on the Floor

Chris Harris Jr, Hightower

5-foot-10, Guard

2020 Unsigned Senior

Harris is two games in and has two back-to-back solid performances. He finished with 16 points and 8 rebounds in the RCS Season Opener and followed that performance with 18 Tuesday night vs a tough La Marque team. Harris provides an extra spark for the Hurricanes. If he continues to play at this level, he could be a big part of what takes Hightower to the next level.

Chris Felix, Westbury Christian

6-foot-3, Guard

2021

Chris Felix helped himself by making move to Westbury Christian. Many questioned his ability to play on the wing and he has shown that he's quite comfortable with the ball in hands. He gets to the rim and does a good job of getting to the free-throw line. We will see how the remainder of the season fares and impacts his recruitment.

Westley Sellers, Morton Ranch

6-foot, Guard

2020 Unsigned Senior

Seller has as two sound back-to-back performances against two of the best teams in the state of Texas in Yates and Shadow Creek. In game one, he finished with 21 points, 11 rebounds and 9 assists. In game two, he finished with 15 points and 6 steals. When backcourt teammate LJ Cryer is facing double and even triple teams, Sellers has no problem stepping up and making plays.

RJ Keene, Concordia Lutheran

6-foot-4, Guard

2021

Keene has made a name for himself by shooting the ball well, but is now showcasing that he is a threat off the dribble as well. Incarnate is the first to offer the shooting guard. With his continued high-level play, more will follow. Keene recently posted a career high 39 points letting everyone know that he hasn't lost his touch.
