Per AL.com

Frederick Wessell scored from 5 yards out with only 55 seconds to go to give Randolph a 32-25 comeback win over Class 4A, Region 7 opponent West Morgan.

The Raiders bounced back after losing their opener last week.

West Morgan (0-3) took an early 7-0 lead when Glavine Segars hooked up with Jokobe Fletcher from 55 yards out.

Randolph came right back, scoring in only three plays, set up by Major Dwyer's 48-yard run down to the Rebel 11-yard line. Two plays later, Dwyer scored from 8 yards out and Joseph Thurman made it 8-7 on a two-point conversion run.

West Morgan lead at the half 19-16, but Randolph (1-1) reclaimed the lead early in the third quarter on Nicholas Strong's 18-yard sweep to give Randolph a 24-19 lead.

West Morgan took the lead back 25-24 in the fourth quarter on Adam Lucas' 55-yard touchdown run.

West Morgan made a last-ditch effort to come back after Wessell's late touchdown, but its drive stalled at the Randolph 32-yard as time expired.
