Foster Girls Basketball
Foster was the only Lamar CISD boys basketball team to make the playoffs last year, but the rest of the district is hoping things are different this season. They all believe they have what it takes to crash the postseason party.
Foster and Fulshear have the district’s marquee players in seniors Chancellor White and Isaiah Barganier, respectively.
Lamar CISD had its best hoops success on the girls side. District Champ Foster made a stirring run to the Regional Quarterfinals behind strong senior leadership. Fellow district-mates Lamar Consolidated and Fulshear joined them in the playoffs.
George Ranch finished second in district, but the Longhorns are under a new coach after long-time leader Shalesha Pierce moved over to neighbor Randle High.
