South Lafourche (Galliano, Louisiana) showed just how this prayer can change the result of a football game, and not in favor of the offense.On the final play of the fourth quarter with the score tied at 14, H.L. Bourgeois (Gray, Louisiana) threw a Hail Mary from the 50-yard line. The ball was intercepted at the 10-yard line.

Cedar Park needed to get past their original rival Leander to get back to the playoffs and they did so in style. Junior quarterback David Cooper tossed two early touchdown passes to senior Jamal Porter and ran for another; senior Trae Samuel Frost Hill rumbled for three rushing touchdowns and the Black Rain defense posted a 4th quarter safety for good measure. After the rubber pellets settled at Gupton Stadium, the Timberwolves had manufactured a 46-7 Halloween nightmare over the Lions in our VYPE Austin Central Texas Game of the Week.
