Despite a strong start, McKinney North posted their first loss of the season against Justin Northwest on Friday night. The Bulldogs lost 28-16.

A 1-yard rush for a touchdown from McKinney North's Elijah Alexander in the opening drive of the game started the Bulldogs off on the right foot. Contributing to the score for McKinney North was senior running back Jadan Smith who led in rushing yards for the Bulldogs with 185-yards and one touchdown. Greyson Steele also added to the score with a field goal.

Northwest defense was able to hold off the rest of the Bulldogs' advances. Quarterback Jake Strong totaled 221 yards and two touchdown passes while running back Kyle Cummings scored two touchdowns. Wide receiver Logan Jeskevic scored once for the Texans.
