Dropping only two games during the regular season, the Celina Lady Bobcats are prepared to claw their way through the playoffs and secure a three-peat at the UIL State Championships. As the team gears up to take down anyone who stands in their way, VYPE DFW takes a look at what fans can expect moving forward:

Regular Season Play

Having been on a roll for several seasons, it comes as no surprise that the Celina Lady Bobcats have been able to boast a 19-2-2 overall record (13-0-1 in district play) this season. Despite opening their season with a loss to Ursuline Academy, the team has been able to showcase true resiliency as they powered through other non-district opponents like Jacksonville, Bullard, Stephenville, McKinney North, and others. Geared up for district play, the team showed no signs of faltering.

Once in district play, the team started out with a bang-- posting a 12-0 victory over Bonham. With the fire and expectation set, the Lady Bobcats went on to showcase many more powerful performances including a 4-0 victory over Aubrey, a 9-0 victory over Farmersville, a 15-0 victory over Pilot Point, and other strong wins. Lead by strong athletes like Kaitlyn Gustofson, Claire Flowers, Makenna Brantley, Brookelyn Babb, Lauren Howell, and others, this team has outscored their opponents by a resounding 121-6 goals combined as they head into the playoffs on a 12 game win-streak.

What's Ahead

Embracing a tradition of excellence, the Celina Lady Bobcats have surged over recent seasons. Showcasing their dominance through district play with a flawless record, the team can be expected to perform the same in post-season play. With the ability to rally with resilience and overpower formidable opponents with standout performances from impressive athletes, fans can be sure that this team is poised for playoff success.
