It was no secret that the Katy Tigers would be a force to be reckoned with prior to the season starting.
But, the degree to which they're playing -- 23-1-1 (8-0 in district) -- has put the entire Texas high school softball landscape on notice.
Buoyed by the next-level performances of major figures, such as Cameryn Harrison (Arkansas-signee), Ashtyn Reichardt (Arkansas-signee), Lauryn Soeken (LSU-commit), Montgomery Henderson (Oklahoma State-commit), and Ella Kate "EK" Smith, among others, the Tigers appear to be the team to beat out of H-Town.
VYPE's Matt Malatesta caught up with head coach Kalum Haack, as Katy looks to conclude their district campaign with an exclamation point.
