2025 North Shore LB Charles Ross' recruitment took off this offseason picking up 11 offers from the likes of UTSA, Pitt, Cal, LSU, Baylor and Houston.
The eastside linebacker took a visit to LSU this weekend and after the visit decided to be 'callin Baton Rouge', committing to Brian Kelly and the Tigers.

Ross had visited LSU at some camps during the summer and made his first trip back after his over the weekend. The tigers staff made an immediate impression on the North Shore LB.
"When I first got their it was very personal," Ross said. "They had a GA waiting on me who took me up up to Coach Kelly's office and he talked with us about how I would fit in their scheme.
"He told me what position I would play and how I could help their team and it was a really good conversation. After that, I knew this is where I wanted to be"
Though his commitment may seem fast to some the recruiting process has been a long one for Ross who has been putting in the work since 8th grade.
"It's been a blessing throughout my recruitment," he said. "It's been a long journey...a hard journey but I felt like this is where God wanted me to be."
As far as other visits this offseason Ross made an emphasis on one thing... He's locked in.
"I'm shutting it all down, it's LSU all the way."
LSU Fans get ready, CJ Ross will be a name you hear consistently as he will be for the Tigers Defense in 2026.
