Highland Park vs. McKinney North - Friday, October 15 at 7 p.m.
Highland Park Scots
Highland Park is coming into the game on a hot, five-game win-streak. Quarterback Brennan Storer has been a strong force for the team including in last week's 21-16 win over Longview where he threw two touchdowns with 242 passing yards. Not only are the Scots' offense strong, but their defense is a force to be reckoned with in the state. Usual state championship contenders continue to show their strength this season and will be looking for their sixth-straight win against McKinney North on Friday.
McKinney North Bulldogs
McKinney North is no stranger to strong teams this season. They have faced off against strong teams like Justin Northwest, Rockwall-Heath, Wylie East and more. The Bulldogs are coming in on a two-game win streak including last week's close 28-21 win over Wylie East. Even though they have posted strong wins, their defense has seemingly struggled a little bit. The Bulldogs defense will have to be on point against Highland Park.
What To Expect:
Highland Park is consistently a great team and that is going to remain so on Friday night. We are not only going to see a strong defense do the most against McKinney North, but we will see the strong Scots offense put up numbers on the night. The McKinney North Bulldogs will have to be at their peak performance to stop the Scots.
