What a great amount of story lines Week 3 produced, but most importantly, I was 20-4 (83.3%) in picking games. And two of those games will be featured in this week's knee-jerk reactions. Remember, these reactions are purely based on the week that just occurred and are not meant to be the end-all, be-all for what's to come.
Duncanville Reps Texas
The matchup between the two nationally-ranked teams was pretty lopsided. Outside of two busted defensive sets, Duncanville dominated the private school from D.C. Ja'Quinden Jackson looked crisp and strong in both throwing and running, and the Panther defense seems as salty as ever. I will definitely not be picking against Duncanville the rest of the year.
RT CallieCaplan: Would you like to try to tackle Ja'Quinden Jackson? I would not.

Home Cooked
Last year's contest between Frisco Lone Star and Highland Park finished 10-7. There was no way this year's game would finish with less than 20 points scored. I picked HP to win because it hasn't loss a home game against a Texas team since 1998. No way was I prepared to see Lone Star up 24-0 at halftime. The game finished 30-19, but Lone Star winning at Highlander Stadium is proof positive this team is a legit 5A title contender.

Prospering
Many #txhsfb pundits picked Flower Mound to beat Prosper. I was not one of those, picking Prosper's defense to show up in Flower Mound and to come out victories. Boy did it. It was complete domination by the Eagles, and if Raylen Sharpe is not 100% in that game on Nov. 1, Prosper might be staring at a district title with the way they are looking right now.

Never Count Out The Colony
For the second time in as many years, The Colony pulled off a last-second touchdown pass to pull off a win. Last year was the lateral against Lone Star. This year while not as rare of a play, was still as exhilarating. After giving up the lead with under a minute to play, Mikey Harrington lead The Colony offense down the field and found Christian Gonzalez with a second left for the win.
