It's that time again! The 2019-2020 Basketball season has come to an end, and so it's time for the fans to vote for the VYPE SETX Girls Public School Basketball Player of the Year.

The VYPE SETX Girls Public School Basketball Player of the Year is now live! Fans will have the chance to vote until Tuesday, March 31st, at 7pm.

Please note that the use of voting software or bots will result in a deletion of votes and a potential DQ from the contest. PLEASE try to keep this fair and fun for all involved!

Up north in the Klein area sits Frassati Catholic -- the TAPPS Class 5A program which has taken giant strides since its opening in 2013.

VYPE Recruit Spotlight: Katy Taylor's Trevor Woods

Prior to the 2019 season, it would have been hard to find info on Trevor Woods in the recruiting world.

Woods had a page on 24/7 but it didn't have any info. After the year the Katy Taylor junior had - 156 tackles and four interceptions returned for touchdowns - it is no surprise that since then his name and recruitment has picked up.

His offer came from Rice and since then they have started to stack up including ones from Army, Cornell, Harvard, Penn, Air Force, UTSA, Montana State, HBU, Columbia, Dartmouth, Yale and Pitt.

VYPE Media Managing Editor Joshua Koch caught up with the 2021 prospect, who also plays baseball at Katy Taylor.
