Wimberley will look to Senior Quarterback, Matthew Tippie, to lead the team along with their leading junior rushers Moses Wray and Juan Olmedo. Tippie will likely be looking to Jaxon Watts or Ty Pruitt downfield as they are the Texan's leading receivers and performed well this year. On the defense we can anticipate more big numbers from junior Nathan Simpson as he's done all season. With over 20 seniors on the roster, we can expect leadership and grit from the Wimberley Texans in this rematch.

Having barely beaten a tough Cuero in the first round of playoffs, the Navarro Panthers have been rolling ever since. They hope the drive can continue, but know that this rivalry can go either way. Looking to claim their spot in the State Semi-Finals this year, the Panthers will go to work hard Friday night. We can expect the traditional Slot-T running attack, but that has actually been opened up this season to a surprisingly effective passing game for the Panthers when needed. Senior Euler De Leon will be hungry to get to that State Semi-Final stage and hopefully his average of 10 YPC can continue. Likewise, Senior, Kyle Gonzalez has been a big threat for the Panthers. Senior Gabriel Means is expected to show up big on defense as he has done this year with some big highlights on the season.
Kickoff for these two teams 4A Div. II Quarterfinals will be at 7:30pm on Friday, December 4 at Boerne ISD Stadium.
