INSIDE THE LOCKER ROOM: Eastside Catholic Daste, captains talk Week 1and beyond
Eastside Catholic made a statement on the road last week, traveling to Utah and rolling past East High School in dominant fashion, 51-0.
The Crusaders controlled the game from start to finish, flashing the stingy defense and physical offense that have become the hallmarks of the program under head coach Dominic Daste.
Now, Eastside turns its attention back home with a local showdown against Bishop Blanchet on deck. It’s another chance for the Crusaders to keep their momentum rolling and continue building confidence as league play approaches.
VYPE’s Matt Malatesta caught up with Coach Daste and his team captains to talk about the upcoming matchup, their goals for the season, and even what’s on their pregame playlists. From strategy and preparation to the music that gets them hyped before kickoff, the Crusaders gave fans a closer look at the energy and personality fueling their strong start.
With one dominant win already in the books and another key contest ahead, Eastside Catholic looks locked in — and ready to keep proving they’re one of the top private school powers in the Northwest.
