Montgomery went 24-12 a year ago and punched the last playoff ticket out of District 21-5A before advancing to the Area round of the playoffs.
Janessa Tennison (Jr. F) is back after leading the squad with 13.7 points per game. She also chipped in an average of six rebounds, 1.1 assists and 1.2 steals in 2023.
Team captain Savannah Piro (Sr. G) is the other part of the Bears’ scoring duo as she averaged 12.9 points and 4.5 rebounds per game a year ago. Fellow captain Kayla Zimny (Sr. G) is another player to watch after averaging 6.1points, 4.4 rebounds, 3.6 assists and 2.3 steals per game.
The Bears are ready to roar and this trio will be a big part of their success in 2024.
