Non-District
Through non-district play, the Lady Warriors defeated strong competitors while beginning their season. With victories over Richland, Fort Bend Austin, New Braunfels, and more en route to district play. Putting up strong moments against some of the toughest teams around, the team finished non-district play with a 9-12 record and the drive to improve their schedule against their district opponents.
District Play
Led by Natalia Newsome, Abby Smith, Jourdyn Morris, Brooke Perry, Lauren Adams, Caitlyn Cavitt, Sophia Salas, Ashley Awuor, and other focused athletes, Arlington Martin has posted 12 consecutive victories against their district opponents. The Lady Warriors outscored their opponents by a combined 36-1 in sets while posting 11 sweeps and currently sit in the first-place spot in their district-- ahead of Arlington High.
Next up, Arlington Martin will face Arlington High (11-1 in district play) on Friday-- the only team that has won a set against them in 14 matches-- before closing out district against Arlington Bowie on 10/24.
