Jordan Moore is maintaining his lead as the best quarterback in District 8-5A-DI.
The Lufkin signal-caller posted another impressive performance in a 55-22 victory over Tomball last week, improving the Panthers to 6-1 overall - their only loss to Longview - and most importantly to 4-0 in district play.
Moore finished the game 24 of 38 for 346 yards, two touchdowns and an interception.
The impressive game for Moore inched him that much closer to the 2,000-yard passing mark for the 2019 season through just seven games. Entering this week, Moore sits at 1,927 yards and 14 touchdowns heading into a showdown with Magnolia West, which will pit the district's two best quarterbacks against each other.
